| I purchased two shrimp tempura rolls for 10 bucks, and they were freshly prepared, still warm, however the compliments end there: - there was NOTHING in the roll, just tempura. No aioli, no avocado, not one smidgen of roe; no not even mayo. I have eaten sushi all over the planet, even in landlocked areas of egypt (not recommended), and *never* seen sushi this plain and unadorned. - the rolls fell apart, they were not wrapped properly The place is uninspired and overpriced. I wouldn't even be writing this if there had been a tiny squirt of mayo or the tiniest sliver of cucumber in the roll, but there wasn't *anything* but what the menu said: shrimp tempura, and that's all it tasted like: a 5 dollar fried shrimp. « Hide |
