The cleaning team did a great job - used them at the end of December on a new house. Fantastic attention to COVID protocols and did a great job ! Will use again for sure and highly recommend. Professional team and very nice too.

I personally will not be using this service again unless in a jam. Too many things on the check list not done. Dust around papers and items on shelves , had to dust myself, dust sides of shelves myself, did not dust fans, cleaned the top of my own appliances and windowsill.
Courteous people, totally loved that...I wish them the best.
Update: within an hour of this review. Someone from tidy casa reached out. I am in awe and total shock. Just wow...

It's an ok company. The biggest issue is that the cleanings are not consistent. Some teams show up, are professional, and do a great job cleaning up the house. Other teams show up, are not as professional, are kind of whiny and complainy, and then do a mediocre job of cleaning the house. It's always hit or miss which team you're going to get. Of course we prefer the teams that are professional and who do a good job, but it's not guaranteed. The cost is the same but the quality of work done is not consistent. They also give mixed messages about what types of cleaning they do and don't do, which is confusing because they contradict themselves at times.

I just spoke to the owner of the business, Ryan.
I truly appreciate him reaching out after reading my review, and it shows he genuinely cares about his business and his customers. He offered to completely refund my money for the cleaning, making good on the customer satisfaction guarantee. He also explained that the cleaner had a family emergency and needed to leave early and as a result couldn't finish the job. Of course, if she would have just explained this to me up front I would have totally understood! Or if Jessica would have explained this during the follow up conversation I would have also been totally understanding as well, but in her defense she may have been left in the dark about what was going on with the employee. I understand emergencies happen, and because Ryan made good on the situation and provided context, he gained back my trust. I will reach out to them next time I need a cleaning.
Unfortunately, after one good experience with this company, the second time I used them I had a terrible experience. I requested a deep clean, which was suppose to include more than just a basic clean. I told the one cleaner that arrived what I had requested online when she arrived, so there was no miscommunication issue. I was surprised that they only sent one employee as I have a fairly big home. She stayed about 3 hours for $260, so the service was not cheap. She did not perform ANY of the deep clean services. Additionally, and most frustrating, she did not mop the floor, which is supposedly included, even in a basic clean. She slowly went around with a spray bottle and a swifter for maybe 3 minutes. My floor was left very dirty. She didn't even touch the stairs. She also did not wipe down surfaces such as the coffee table, kitchen table, and nightstand, etc.--all supposed to be included. She did not take out any of the trashes either. Again, supposed to be included. The only shower that gets used frequently was left partially dirty. The two others I paid her to clean were virtually clean already. When Jessica, an employee, texted to check in right after the service I thought that was a good sign. It even made me wonder whether they've had trouble with this particular cleaner in the past. I was wrong. She made me take pictures to prove that things were left unclean, I guess she didn't believe me? Even after I took time out of my day to do this, she never offered to refund my money, even though they supposedly have a customer satisfaction guarantee! She did apologize, but get this --offered to send the same employee back to my house. I declined, and asked that she at least refund the money for the deep clean part, since none of those things were done. She agreed, and took a whopping 40 off the bill. I was shocked that she only offered this -- as she was completely aware that many services I paid for (like the mopped floor, trashes, cleaning of surfaces, etc.) were skipped over. This is not only unethical, it is fraudulent to accept money for services you advertise and then not perform those advertised services. I did not feel like haggling any further, as the company already wasted so much of my time, but they will not get my business again or others I know who were going to hire them. I wrote this to warn others, please do not patronize this business unless you like to throw money away! I do appreciate house cleaners and how hard they work, and always tip well. But if just one employee can't get the job done because it's too big of a job, then the company should send more employees, they can't just not perform services that they were paid for -- that's fraud!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Hey Kristin, I understand the frustration with the last cleaning.
This feedback is spot on, and this last job wasn't up to our cleaning standards.
Sorry again, the cleaning didn't go as well as it could have.
I'd be disappointed too.
I did attempt to call and text to discuss what further we could do to make things right and am waiting to hear back. :)
A few things I'd like to clarify...
We called after the job, not because we didn't trust our cleaner, Katie.
We call, email, and text after every job because we hold ourselves to high standards and want to ensure everyone is getting an excellent cleaning every time. As indicated we did this the first time we worked together in October and we were told then the cleaning was excellent!
That said, when we did connect on this initially would have been our opportunity to make things right, since we were told then the cleaning wasn't up to par.
It seems we dropped the ball there as well.
The refund wasn't meant to be a slight.
We issued the $40 refund because we were asked to refund the difference between the deep and basic cleaning costs.
The delta between those two isn't huge. That's something we should have explained before processing the refund.
That's on us.
As mentioned in the review, we've already refunded part of the service, but we're here and ready to do more.
Simply waiting to hear back so we can connect and discuss. :)

The worst cleaning service I have ever used. I had two children come to my house not pick up or scrub a single thing. They tipped my rug in the kitchen. Flooded the area of the floor they actually "mopped" for the rooms all they did was as hardly vacuum. I will never pay $200 got such crap again.

I was referred to Tidy Casa from another cleaner I'd hired in the past and I hoped that would mean they were good. I can't say I was thrilled with my first appointment, they did an "adequate" job. But! I gave my C-grade comments when asked and hoped I'd get someone else. I think we can all do with a second chance sometimes.
Next time, Virginia (hope that's right!) came and she's a marvel! She did an outstanding job. I was impressed with her thoroughness and attention to detail. The place felt really CLEAN when she left and she was personable and accommodating. I've asked for her in the future. I hope so since she was late this time, partially due to GPS giving inadequate directions to my place. There's a much easier entrance that Virginia now knows! I'm only taking one star off for lateness (it was 1 hour- someone should have phoned) but I am very satisfied with the service over-all.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

It's part of our policy to call ahead when we're running late. We dropped the ball there. I am in awe! I was able to schedule a next-day appointment and because life is absolutely insane right now, I wasn't able to do the pre-clean that I'd normally do. Well Veronica to the rescue! She showed up at the expected time and jumped into action. There was lots to be done and I was concerned that she was a team of one, but clearly I didn't need to be. She did an AWESOME job and I am ever so grateful to have one less thing on the to-do list. Thank you, Tidy Casa and Veronica!
