In honor of the man who willingly exposed himself and his family to hatred, false accusations and threats to combat the injustices felt by all who looked like him we recognize the late and great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. As the most visible activist of the Civil Rights Movement his nonviolence and civil disobedience was respected by even those who did not identify with his faith. His poise and presence was commendable under the most oppressive circumstances known to man and yet his voice was never silenced. To all those who benefitted and continue to benefit from his sacrifice both collectively and individually we owe this day to recognize him. We will be open today and continue to uplift our no hate mission by spreading animal equality through opposition of consuming from them directly and indirectly.
