The Painted Finish is only using high quality cabinet paints such as Duration by Sherwin Williams, Industrial Enamels by Sherwin Williams and Gemini Paints sold locally by Kelly Moore Paints. Great care is taken to remove hardware such as handles, hinges, knobs and pulls. Chemical washing to remove greases, grime, oils, dirt and stains. Sanding to smooth out the surfaces and to de-gloss existing finishes. Caulking where necessary. Extensive taping and masking of surrounding surfaces to protect from paint spray and drips. Creating a tented area to encapsulate overspray. Protection of Flooring. Setting up a work area - generally - in the garage or an outside area or spare room area - to prep and spray the doors and drawers. Once the cabinet painting project is complete than replacing the door and drawer hardware and installing the doors and drawers. Removing all masking tape and plastic and tent areas that were created. Making sure all surfaces are clean and tidy and removing all equipment and trash from the premises. Leaving behind beautifully painted cabinets as you can see in our photos.
