Tim Brown Portraits

I am a self-taught portrait artist specialising in all forms of pencil (graphite, pastel, charcoal, coloured pencil, etc) and draw from photographs supplied by the customer. The photos should be as clear and sharp as possible as this will greatly determine the accuracy of my work. Once a commission has been agreed I require a 25% deposit before starting work. This will only be returnable for a 'cooling off' period of 24 hours, after which I will consider it binding and shall commence work. Preferred payment method is direct bank transfer, but other options can be considered upon request. Please be aware that a portrait can take between 2-8 weeks to complete, depending on size and my workload at the time. Rush-jobs will not be considered. Once finished I will unveil it to you and you then have the right to accept it or not. If you are not happy with it I will offer to change it, or you can reject it out of hand there and then - that is your prerogative. Hopefully though it will be just as you wished, and then you will need to settle the remaining 75% balance of payment before I will package and post it to you. You can request that the artwork be kept private, either up to a certain date if it is to be a gift, or just permanently if you so wish. Otherwise I retain the right to share pictures of it on my website and social media pages at my own discretion.
