Do you know how important light is when it comes to colours, and wondered why the colour on your car can look different in different lights and at different angles..?
This is known as metamerism - which is how the light hits the panel and reflects back through the layers of paintwork. A flat panel freshly painted will all look the same colour; if there is a swage line or an angle in the panel, they may look very different.
