Paul E. Edmeier is a Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller in Alhambra, CA | Jessica, my beautiful and talented daughter, is a very smart, serious, hard-working veterinary student. On Saturday, February 22nd (i.e., pre COVID-19) she represented her college of veterinary medicine on a Q&A panel for high-school students. Her fellow panelists included representatives from the DO, DMD, DPT, and DPM programs at WesternU. Each of them described a typical day in their respective field, path into the application process, why they are so passionate about pursuing their chosen profession, etc. Jess was impressed at seeing high-school students' desire and motivation to pursue graduate school then careers in health sciences and excited to hear some of them tell her that they, too, want to be veterinarians one day. "Definitely a feel-good moment [emojis omitted]", she reported back.
