World Cancer Day
Every year, 4th February is observed as world Cancer Day to create awareness about it.
Though cancer is multi factorial and there is no single magic diet which can prevent it, research shows that rich is fresh vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans and whole grains reduces the risk of cancer.
Laboratory studies have proved that many individual vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals in plant-based food have anti-cancer properties.
