It is just unbelievable! # When I download and run Microsoft 'PC Health Check App' software, very nice note jumps at my desktop. So my 'Intel Core i5 7600K' (Kaby Lake) which is compatible with 'Windows 10' is not compatible with 'Windows 11', for which is recommended 'Intel Core i5 8600K' (Coffee Lake). Both processors have similar performance. The only difference is in the support for SIPP (Intel® Stable IT Platform Program), which is not crucial. All of the above generations of microprocessors come from the same dad, Sky Like architecture (https://informatics.buzdo.com/p254-chipset-z170.htm#n01). # 'Intel Xeon - Sky Like' is supported, but 'Intel Core - Sky Like' is not supported? To flatter large corporations? Who cares for ordinary people! # What’s the point of neglecting earlier generation of some processors? Must change almost everything in PC. Especially because of the mandatory use of TPM module, which in my opinion is not as important as the quality of antivirus software. Microsoft has turned 'Windows 10' into an even more demanding monster of OS - 'Windows 11'. # It would have been better if they had dedicated themselves to optimizing and minimizing the code, in terms of operational stability to be even more acceptable for older computers. But that giant seems to have no idea about making software. # Or the intention of all of them (Microsoft and those who 'follow' him) is to take even more money from people, supporting incompatibility. # Miserably!
