We experimented with pipettes and water to liquify the cotton candy (the cotton candy represented the insect wrapped in the spider’s web). When the water touched the cotton candy, it dissolved or liquified quickly. Next, we used small straws to drink the liquid from the cup to understand how a spider eats it’s prey. We learned that spiders are helpful to humans by eating unwanted insects.
