Kate Mullany: The Legacy of a Woman Trade Pioneer

P. Thomas Carroll of the Kate Mullany National Historic Site will be sharing with us a presentation to discuss this historic, local landmark and their efforts to share the incredible history of a pioneer in woman’s labor rights, Kate Mullany. This site was declared a National Historic Site in 1998 and is the home of the American Labor Studies Center. Join us in learning more about Kate Mullany and the Collar Laundry Union as well as efforts underway to restore the site. Dinner is available for separate purchase at Max 410 at the Van Schaick Island Country Club. This purchase is not required to attend the lecture.
