Show off your dog’s skills with the Canine Good Citizen Test and Certification! In addition to bragging rights, a CGC title can be helpful in securing dog-friendly rental housing and vacation accommodations, and might even help you convince the boss to let you bring your best friend to work. Many therapy dog programs use the Canine Good Citizen Certification as their training requirement for therapy dog work. Your dog will be tested on their ability to greet strangers with impeccable manners, walk calmly with you through crowds and other distracting situations, keep her calm around other canines, and work at a distance.
