I had a call from a customer in Cambridge that was having problems with a Autotrol 155 commercial water softener. The softener brine tank was overflowing and the water was hard. When the valve head was striped down, as you can see from the image, the flapper valves were in a bad state. After completing a major service and replacing all the flapper valves with new ones, Cleaning the injectors and filter screen, the softener was put back into service a regenerated with a resin cleaner and fresh salt. A hard water test was carried out and the water test soft, which was great.
