These include your SAT/ACT scores and your personal statement, among others. GPA stands for grade point average. Most universities and colleges use the 4.0 grading scale. This means 4.0 is an A, 3.0 a B, 2.0 a C, 1.0 a D and anything below is an F. Some universities consider anything below a 3.0 to be a low GPA; others consider anything at or below 3.5 to be low.
