This is our 1959 Armstrong Siddeley Star Sapphire, the most elegant and powerful car produced in the companies history. Armstrong Siddeley produced high class motor cars competing with Roll Royce and Jaguar. They were particularly good at producing cars for the owner driver. Less than 1,000 Star Sapphires were produced and so this car is a rare survivor. It came with a 4 litre engine and automatic gearbox. The interior was finished in leather with walnut dash and door capping. This particular car underwent a restoration under its previous 2 owners which included a full mechanical overhaul, the interior leather seating and wood trim renovation. The car is a real head-turner and is extremely photogenic. The dove grey and black paintwork looks great with any colour scheme and is proving a popular choice for wedding couples.
