COVID-19 According to the World Health Organization (WHO), COVID-19 cannot be transmitted via any of our merchandise to our warehouse or to our customers. When the merchandise is loaded into a container and sealed at the factory and then sent to the container loading yard, there is a minimum of 6-8 weeks before it is delivered and opened again at the final destination whether that is our warehouse or the customers’ warehouse. The WHO maintains that COVID-19 cannot persist on surfaces for more than a few days (possibly not even more than a few hours). For more information click here. Additionally, any container with any kind of organic or wood product has to be certified to be kiln dried to a high minimum temperature standard before being packaged and then any container has to be fumigated before being sealed and sent to the container port for loading. We acquire government certificates and the containers are inspected by the USDA when they arrive in port in the USA before heading on to our warehouse.
