Benevolence Ministry Assistance is available to those in need and can be applied for only one time every six months with a maximum of four times total. The assistance can includes rent, utilities, medicine, and gasoline. Thrift store vouchers are given for clothes, shoes, and household goods. Fire victims are given donated furniture based upon availability at the time of need. Food pantry vouchers are given for those in immediate need of food. No assistance is given for deposits. Any resident of Marshall County, Alabama with a valid address who needs help should come into the office and fill out an application. Applicants must provide proper identification and proof of the bill owed. All applications are subject to approval by the benevolence director for each site.
