Reassurance Scans are performed at any stage from 14 weeks of pregnancy. This ultrasound scan is for parents to be who have any concerns about their pregnancy at this stage. During this scan the Sonographer will take time to perform many detailed checks on your baby and other structures related to the pregnancy such as the amniotic fluid and placenta. It is also possible to tell the sex of your baby from this pregnancy scan from 16 weeks, if you would like to find out if you are having a boy or girl.
