Summer safety tip 1. Make sure to drink plenty of water to keep from dehydrating and eat plenty of fruits. 2. Apply sunscreen while your outside this will help you and your family to keep from getting sunburnt. There are several different kinds of sunburn. There will be a link from the Red Cross and CDC below. 3. Don’t stay in the sun for long periods of time. The sun can drain your energy quickly and if you’re not careful you could end up in a heat exhaustion situation where your body becomes over heated. A tip to keep in mind if you’re out in the sun sweating and you stop sweating go inside cool down drink water, call 911 for any long exposure to heat and if the person your with don’t seem to acting like normal. 4.
