Choughs are pleased to welcome Darren from Furniturebyk . Darren has been painting and upcycling furniture for several years now and he especially likes making his furniture look unique and one of kind. Recently Darren has ventured into what he likes to call Scaffurniture which we now have the pleasure of stocking in the shop. These are all bespoke pieces of furniture and wall hangings all made from reclaimed scaffold boards. Some are left natural and some have a coloured wash. Darren says “I love the old boards as they have lived an extremely hard life outside and bare all the battles scars of that life! Scars that I have found can’t be replicated and they make for a fab individual item”. We look forward to seeing you in Choughs to look at Darren’s work and all the other crafters unique products.
