A study looked at the effects of 200mg of caffeine (equivalent to 2 cups of brewed coffee) on memory and learning. It found that it boosted cognition and memory only in people who were classified as extroverts. Introverts didn't see the same benefit. Interesting... Also, 3.3mg/kg of caffeine was seen to increase cortisol levels by 30%, in regular drinkers.
