As Cambodia appears to have escaped Covid 19 lightly, we will reopen Koh Ker Jungle lodge on the 29th of May, 2020 to receive guests from Friday 29th May and have committed to enhanced cleaning practices there. Lodge managers have committed to more rigorous cleaning & sanitization practices using boiling water & certain cleaning produces on all surfaces to prepare for arrival and on departure. We think its best to allow a buffer time of 3 days between bookings. Our very lovely laundry lady will from now on use hot water for washing all bed linens. Some of you may have experienced in the past the massive gigantic pot we have used outside the bathroom to boil water for showers for certain guests that could not live without a hot shower.. This service will now become standard practice for all guests rather than those who request it . Hosts and any additional staff as well as security will use gloves and masks at all time while with guests or in the kitchen for food prep. This coming weekend, May 23rd , we will re-cement the kitchen floor & tidy up the garden and freshen the property since it’s last guests in March 2020. We are excited for our new guests arrival at the end of May. .They are a local prominent NGO working wildlife preservation but more about that later!
