I was recently speaking to a small group of other business owners. When asked what sets my practice apart from others, I said, "I focus on value creation rather than revenue generation." That took some by surprise... isn't the point of having a business to generate revenue and sales... they said. I don't believe so, I believe the the goal of building your business is to create a healthy business of value.
