M.A.K Flowers & Gifts turns O-N-E! For those who don’t know, our story began 20+ years ago Our Floral Designer, Marzanna, always had a passion for flowers. As years went by, she got her chance to work at a Flower Shop and eventually, even the opportunity to take it over. Sadly, before her dream was fulfilled a loved one passed away. She persisted as she had for many years arranging flowers for her friends and family from her home. As the requests became frequent, gifts baskets were added to the mix, the word had spread, her children became involved and soon enough it became a family business. As space ran out in the family home, it was time to look for other alternatives, and just like that she found herself opening a store. Today, we reflect on how the last 365 days have been a roller coaster of emotions, how much we appreciate the help of our family and friends, how we overcame our first Valentines Day rush and first big wedding, how our store front has changed with the seasons, how we had the opportunity to collaborate with others to support amazing cause but most of all, how our customers show us loyalty. Because of you, this past year, we have met some great people, heard stories that made us laugh and cry, expended our creativity, learned from your feedback and realized that in such short time, we mean something to you as well, as you took the time and voted for us and we were named the 3rd best flower shop in Mississauga, and for that we can’t thank you enough.
