CAT 7 was defined in order to be prepared for future transmission standards with even higher bandwidth requirements. This created a cable standard for network cables as a reliable connecting element for large to very large 10GBASE-T networks with high loads and bandwidth-hungry multimedia applications. As required for use in public areas, we offer CAT 7 patch cables as halogen-free cables in lengths between 0.3m and 30m in small increments. Please note using Cat 7 cable is only required for Data centres as a Cat5e will transmit Gigabit ethernet up to 30m anyway and most peoples max NBN is 100Mhz.
