This month is a critical time to optimize vaccinations before school starts. Restrictions have been lifted for some activities however please continue practicing safe social distancing. Some ask me if I would take the vaccine- the answer is a definite yes! Some ask if I am concerned about the potential side effects- there are always potential side effects with any treatment but this vaccine has been studied extensively. What have vaccines done in the past? I am old enough to remember kids in braces from polio. Smallpox was a killer that has been eradicated by vaccines. So please consider the vaccine and its life saving potential. I realize for some that are hesitant and struggle with trusting these vaccines this is a very hard ask but I want all my patients to be safe.
