Mephibosheth...son of my Friend Thru the Bible: 2 Sam. 9-12; 1Chron. 19-20 In David’s honoring of Mephibosheth, we see an attribute of God, Who honors those who honor Him, even long after they have passed. We see this most profoundly in God having the Gospel preached FIRST to the Jewish nation before including Samaria and the rest of the world. God is said to have done this out of honor of Abraham, the father of Israel.
