King Hezekiah - Revelations of God's heart Thru the Bible: 2Kings 18:1-8; 2Chron. 29:1-31:1 King Hezekiah has the distiction of being unlike any other king in terms of godliness and devotion. The Lord said of him, "Hezekiah trusted in the LORD God of Israel; not one of the kings of Judah was like him, either before him or after him. He held fast to the LORD and did not turn from following Him but kept the commandments the LORD had commanded Moses.” That is quite the affirmation from the God of the whole earth! As we follow his reign we see all that God said of his character played out in the decisions he made, the understanding he had of God and His heart and ways and his intercessions and encouragements to those he led. King Hezekiah is a tremendous example for any person from any age who would set their hearts towards devoted worship of God.
