Solomon becomes King Thru the Bible: 1Chron. 28-29; 1Kings 1-2 King David finally steps to the plate as a father and speaks over Solomon affirming words, charges him with the duties of being king, calls the men of the kingdom to his future support and steps down so Solomon can take the throne. In Solomon's first acts as king he finishes his father's "to do" list and begins his reign.
