Owe only Love Series: Do we REALLY believe? This morning we are addressing the primary commands in Christ and that is to Love God and Love our brother & sister in Christ. In addition to this we covered the importance of Respect for God. If we truly respect God, we will not only love Him but we will love what He loves. The heart of true worship of God is loving and respecting Him...that is where it begins! Out of that relationship of love and respect (which includes trust) all the fruits of righteousness grow. This is what Jesus meant when He told us that to love God and to love our brother IS the keeping of the entire law. We looked at the command from two passages, one written by Paul the other stated by Jesus. These are strong words and hard sayings for the flesh, but the heart that truly worships God understands it can be no other way.
