What it means to know Me Thru the Bible: Jeremiah 19-23 In these chapters God addresses Judah's obstinance and disobedience. Jeremiah laments his role in all of this, since his prophecies remain unfulfilled up to this point and his is being both mocked and persecuted. As we have seen since the beginning of Jeremiah's prophecies, God's judgments over Israel and Judah are because they refuse to come to know Him. In the end, God tells them what it looks like for someone to know Him and it looks nothing like His people in Judah! God also tells them what true prophecy does - it leads people to conform to God's Word and will in obedience. Anything else - is not prophecy from God. Blessings!
