He has wounded, but He will bind up our wounds Thru the Bible: Hosea 6-10 Hosea uses familial terms throughout this written account of his words and ministry. He began as more of a lover and then moves to terms more consistant with that of a parent. At any rate, God's love for His people is that of family. It is constant, deep and faithful...even in the face of our unfaithfulness. We began tonight in the 6th chapter which starts off with the title of this message - He was wounded, but He will bind up our wounds. This was not actually spoken by Israel, it was spoken by Hosea as both the voice of God and in this verse, the voice of an Israelite encouraging his brethren to repent. Blessings!
