Missteps don't have to derail God's plans for us Series: Holy Spirit - Helper & Friend Paul's decision to go to Jerusalem against the warning of the Holy Spirit, cost him 2-3 years of his life, but it did not derail God's ultimate plans for Paul or even render him ineffective doing that time. God uses our missteps and works it into His plans for us. Much like Moses who in killing the egyptian at 40 years of age, landed him in Arabia tending another man's sheep until 80 - didn't keep him from fulfilling His calling to lead Israel out of Egypt and to the Promised land.
