In Him, means in Him! Series: Maintaining this Hope This is our second week looking at John 14-16, identifying what Jesus had to say about sending us the precious Holy Spirit of God, Whose inner work in us grows us into Christ's image. Today we spent some time in the first few verses of John 15 examining what the scriptures really mean by being "in Him". many commentators make excuses for this passage, attempting to explain it away with special pleading or misinterpretations, but in the end...it says precisely what it means. Those who continue to abide In Him - produce much fruit, those who do not are cast off as a branch. It really is that simple.
