The hypothetical prayer Isaiah prays from their perspecitive nearly blames God for their situation even though they admit to their sin. God finally wraps up the foresights of the seer with a vision of the Gentiles entering into the relationship with God that they never would, their eventual repentance and God's final promises to Israel being realized in the Jerusalem in the far and distant future of the millennial age and in the New heaven and earth of the eternal age.
