Discipline in the church Pt. 1 Series: Holy Spirit - Helper & Friend Pt 1 - What Jesus & Paul say about judging and confronting known sin This week we are taking a closer look at the take aways the Elders of Ephesus recieved whem Paul encouraged them regarding their duties as Pastors - one of which was judging among the sheep. This is a form of protection in that it guards the sheep from the deluting effects of sin in the midst of the congregation. Yet at first, Paul's words seem to be a variance with those of Jesus. So we explore what Jesus REALLY said, IN CONTEXT. When brought together with Paul's encouragements in scripture we see perfect harmony and tremendous safety in the flock of the local assembly.
