The past couple weeks we've been catching up on writing and paperwork for our Brazil and Cape Town projects. Happy to receive the new BICSI Data Center Standard, with companion operations and project best practices. BICSI 002-2019 makes really relevant and timely changes to the 2014 version, and BICSI 009-2019 (Data Center Operations and Maintenance Best Practice). As information systems and data-driven decision support continue to change the business operations of both government and private sector, better guidance for all levels of organization will continue both add value, as well as allow better standardization and interoperability between internal and external organization units which need to share and exploit the value of data.
