It’s a big deal, the day your child gets his braces taken off, but it is not the end of the orthodontic treatment process and although there is cause for celebration there are still some precautions to be taken. The teeth will be more sensitive for the first week or so after braces are removed, your orthodontist may recommend a soft food diet and/or an over the counter oral care remedy.
