(Original)Inspection of partially disassembled machines: This is sometimes a difficult job. On larger machines such as a #bulldozer #komatsu #D475 several components are often disassembled because of transport restrictions. Checking play in equalizer bar and pivot pins of track frame needs an engineer who understands the machine and has some experience. Play in disassembled trunnions and blade pins can only be estimated. At least the engine and torque tests are possible without limitation.
