Selfies have become ubiquitous in modern culture, but how did they start? The first recorded "selfie" was in 1839 when Robert Cornelius took a self-portrait using a camera he had set up. However, it wasn't until smartphones with front-facing cameras that selfies took off. Today, selfies are a way for people to capture moments in their lives and share them with friends and followers on social media. But why do selfies look better when those in the photo are smiling? Smiling has been shown to positively affect our mood and make us appear more approachable to others. There are several things you can do to brighten up your smile. First, brush twice daily, floss daily, and visit us at Spanish Fork Dentistry annually for a dental check-up. Second, consider having your teeth whitened by a dentist. (we do this too) Selfies have quite a history and have become a popular way to share our lives, but smiling in a selfie makes all the difference. #SpanishForkSmiles #WhiteTeethSpanishFork#bestdentistnearme #bestspanishforkdentist #bestutahvalleydentist http://jozu.me/ewp
