A blast from the past. Every healthy woman under 50 can squat 60, bench 40 and deadlift 80 in her first 3-6 months of training. Being able to do this then leads to better performance in other areas, even in areas you didn't directly train. One of the entry tests for Victoria Police is a 60" plank. When Alexa first tried it, she could do 18". After 6 weeks of barbells, we tried it again, she did 60" with ease, we stopped her there. She more than tripled her plank time without training the plank at all, just doing squats, presses and pulls. Another test is the grip test. Do you think a woman who can deadlift 80kg has a stronger or weaker grip than one who can't? She's a police constable now, by the way. Coming to a booze bus near you. Gym workouts stuck in a rut?
