Back on the shop spaces, you are encouraged to “make the shops your own”. You are welcome to paint the walls outside your shop or create signs that express your brand… whatever you like. Just run your ideas by me first, we’ll go over a few basic guidelines.
Please note:
1) We are still a fairly new flea market in a small-town area that is trying to bring in business throughout the entirety of the Florida Wiregrass and from Dothan. In order to pay the bills during this first year to and to keep Sunshine's customer base happy, I began to sell quite a bit of liquidated merchandise. This move has, largely, worked. We are gaining, little by little, a steady following in the area as we grow.
2) With regards to the availability of the mini shops right now, if you drop by, you will see that most areas are already full of items. 85% of those items are mine, though, and these items can easily be moved elsewhere. Still, doing so takes me a bit of time on one of our “off” days when customers are not about. Hence the required week notice prior to moving in.
3) If you decide that we are a good fit for you, there are a few dos and don'ts we will need to go over regarding what can be sold and behind the scenes operations. The best advice I can give is to stop by either on a Friday, prior to 3pm or on Sunday mornings prior to 11am. I am the most free then to show you around and go over any questions and paperwork.
If you have any questions at all or need to reach me, please feel free to email me at Shae@sunshinesfleamarket.com. You may also call Sunshine's at 850-352-2135. I check messages there at least 3 times a week. Or, if it is pressing, my cell at 850-210-9030. Please leave a message as I'm usually doing a thousand things at once. I'll be sure to return your call as soon as I can.
Thank you all for your interest! I hope to meet you in person when you drop by Sunshine's. Be you shopper or vendor or both, we likely have something that will make you smile. :)
