This weekend Springfield Ymca Goju Ryu Karate hosted our organization's (Okinawan Goju Ryu Kenkyu Kai) Spring Gasshuku (training seminar). The Gasshuku was taught by our Organization's leader Sensei Steve Wilson & several top level instructors. It was the first time ever being help in Springfield. Fellow Goju Ryu Karateka came from Arizona, California, Indiana, Kentucky, & Northern Illinois to train at our school and our YMCA on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. Some attendees got a little time to see some of Lincoln's sites, enjoy some local food, & all attendees go to work hard together. What an amazing weekend of fun, training, & friendship.
