Three Tips To Crack The IAS Interview Begin early. Instead of waiting for the result of the Mains exam, a better and smarter strategy is to start fine-tuning your personality early on. Do an in-depth dive of your personality. People wear many, many skins and rarely know all their traits. Your task is to find all the aspects of your personality and then work on any weakness that doesn’t fit an IAS officer. Go through your bio-data as many times as possible. This is important because the majority of the question during the UPSC interview stage is based on the Detailed Application Form. The DAF is your biodata that each member of the board gets. By revising the DAF, you ensure that you don’t fumble when questions are asked. Pay particular attention to education, hobbies and any work experience you have.
