The oil on canvas study depicts a river landscape with distant fields and mountains. The painting is signed Lamiaa in pale yellow paint in the lower rh corner. Good condition with good colour and no damage. The painting is displayed within a two tiered gilt decorative wooden frame with inner black felt lining which complements the overall tone of the study. The painting, laid to board, is secured by staples and a nail to the inner wooden frame which is nailed to the outer primary frame. The backing board is faintly scratch signed "LAMY" to the upper centre edge - presumably a shortened version of Lamiaa. No other visible script. Remnants of an old label bearing printed /107A attached to outer centre edge of primary frame. The artist has been provisionally listed in the East Asian Category (East Asian origin).
