Vehicle Rollaway Accidents Subject To Personal Injury Lawsuits A Vehicle Rollaway Accident is defined as any instance when a car or truck moves without a driver. The most common cause of these accidents is when the vehicle's transmission shifter is not properly placed in the PARK position or it "slips" out of the PARK position.
