A Spitfire aircraft flew over Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth Hospital tomorrow as part of an NHS charity fundraiser. The NHS Spitfire project, which is organised by the Aircraft Restoration Company, offers people the chance to nominate a name to be hand written onto their iconic blue Spitfire. There is room for 80,000 names on the aircraft, with more than £81,000 raised for NHS charities so far. The Spitfire will fly over the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at 2.25pm tomorrow as part of a full-day itinerary flying over UK hospitals, so keep your eyes peeled for the dramatic sight!
