The Lorain County Metro Parks recently approved a bid from Mark Haynes Construction to move forward with the Black River Bikeway Extension. According to the Metro Parks, the project will extend the Bikeway 7,200 feet north into Lorain from Colorado Avenue just south of Henderson Road. In a statement following the bid approval, Metro Parks Director James Ziemnik said the following, “Mark Haynes has done a lot of work for us and many park districts throughout the region,” Ziemnik said. “They are extremely timely and efficient.
