Construction is underway on the northwestern side of Ottawa. Since May, we've been clearing and prepping the site to create a 4,000-foot diversion channel designed to reduce the effects of local flooding. In total, our crew will remove nearly 200,000 cubic yards of soil during construction. Our work, together with 2016 improvements to Putnam County Road I-9, is expected to lower floodwater in the area by about 1 foot. Interested to learn more?
