Half of them come from personal consumer electronics, such as smartphone and laptops. If buried in the landfill, the e-waste could contaminate water and earth with the hazard lasting hundreds of years. Egyptian-Finnish entrepreneur Mo El-Fatatry and his wife Nahed Bedir Eletribi founded ERTH, an e-waste recycling platform in Malaysia, to allow households and consumers easily dispose of e-waste through proper channels.
